Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Tandem Procurement collects, why, and what choices you have. It applies to our website and platform.
1. Information we collect

We do not collect payment card numbers. Payments are processed by Stripe; card data goes directly to them.
Do not submit protected health information. Tandem is not built for PHI and is not a HIPAA business associate. Our Terms prohibit uploading it.
2. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service
- Generate documents and AI output from information you provide
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send transactional messages (sign-in links, receipts, notifications)
- Respond to sales inquiries and provide support
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use Customer Data to advertise to you.
3. AI processing
When you use an AI feature, the relevant records from your account only are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response, along with your question. Our AI provider does not use this data to train its models. Each request is independent — the AI does not retain memory between requests, and one customer’s information is never used to answer another customer’s question.
4. Service providers
We share information only with providers who help us operate, each bound by contract:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or sale of assets (with notice).
5. Where data is stored
Customer Data is stored in the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you consent to processing in the United States.
6. Retention
We keep Customer Data while your account is active and for up to 30 days after termination, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we must keep it longer for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes. Sales inquiry records are kept up to 24 months. Billing records are kept as required by law.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit, verified database connections, access controls that isolate each customer’s data, hosted payment processing so we never handle card data, rate limiting, and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. Much of this is available directly in the app; otherwise email tandemprocurement@gmail.com and we will respond within the time the law requires. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect.
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. Transactional messages about your account will continue.
9. Cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary — keeping you signed in and maintaining your session. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
10. Children
The Service is for business use and not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
We will post updates here with a new date and, for material changes, notify active customers by email.
